Hearst UK publishes 21 brands including Red, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping. They sell over 4 million magazines a month, have 17 million digital unique users and reach 22 million fans and followers through their social media platforms.
They use Jellyfish Connect to run extensive subscription marketing campaigns for their brands, their magazines are actively promoted and sold on magazine.co.uk, and they use our ABC-accredited reporting platform to integrate sales data from the Apple App Store, Google Play App Store and Amazon newsstand to generate consolidated digital edition reports.
We participated in a number of promotional campaigns across magazine.co.uk throughout 2017 and 2018 including January/Mega Sale, Mother’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day and dedicated Bank Holiday campaigns. Our exposure has been maximised through placements across site-wide ads, category page banner ads, top title positions, social posts and inclusion in dedicated campaign emails.
The results for the brands included in these campaigns has been fantastic - in some cases we have seen more than a 200% uplift in subscription volumes compared to previous years where we did not run promotions, and more than a 50% increase for the majority of titles. As a result, we will continue to participate in magazine.co.uk promotions as this provides us with exceptional exposure for our brands.
